Laura Ann Writes is a quiet corner for faith, story, and the in-between — a space where life, faith, and words meet. Here you’ll find personal reflections, fiction, book projects, and occasional professional writing that share the same heartbeat: clarity and hope.

 

I’m a writer based in Woodstock, Georgia, drawn to the quiet spaces where faith and story intersect. I graduated from Kennesaw State University and have spent my career working in the business of marketing — helping others communicate with clarity and purpose. That professional foundation has shaped my voice, but writing has always been more than work for me. It is calling, reflection, and worship woven together.

 

My writing is rooted in faith and often explores themes of identity, waiting, belonging, and trusting God in uncertain seasons. I’m especially drawn to the in-between chapters — the moments when answers feel delayed and direction feels unclear. I believe those seasons are not wasted; they are sacred spaces where God refines, redirects, and gently reminds us who we are.

I’m a wife and proud dog mom to an adorable rescue. I’m an avid reader with a deep love for romance, thrillers, and Christian fiction. I love to travel of any kind, but the beach is where my heart feels most still. The steady rhythm of the ocean reminds me of God’s peace and presence.

 

My favorite moments are slow, quiet mornings with Jesus, coffee in hand, devotionals open — the simple, sacred rhythms that anchor my heart before the day begins.
